About Us

Alabama Association of Addiction Counselors (AAAC), a non-profit professional association of over 150 members, is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of some of Alabama’s top addiction professionals. You are very important to AAAC. This organization is for YOU. We need your input, your volunteer time, your voice, and suggestions. We need your presence in meetings and continuing education. We need your support in legislative matters. We need your voice to continue to battle to reduce the stigma, increase access to care, and support Treatment and Recovery.

We are grateful for each of our members who serve on the Board of Directors and Certification Committee. Their hard work each year makes AAAC Alabama’s premier Addiction Counselor certifying body and membership organization.
